Prosec defines itself as an entity committed to children, teenagers and young people, especially those from socially disadvantaged areas.

It was founded in 1987 by a group of leisure educators from the organization “Equip de Campaments”. They strongly believed that their work could not end with the organization of summer camps: there was much more to do to help young people with difficulties who had big problems finding work opportunities and needed a real and effective help to access the working world.

Prosec is a non-profit civil organization with a preference for the Old District area in the city of Lleida.
